Admissions Process

Becoming a Liberty Lion

The admissions process starts when you, the parent or guardian, submit an online application. (Although we offer rolling admissions, we highly recommend that you apply early since we moved to a waitlist for several grades this year.) From there, LCS will need some additional information about you and about your student’s prior academic work. Once received, the Director of Admissions will schedule your student for testing and an interview before granting admission. If you are interested in applying for financial aid please note that this involves a separate application specifically for financial aid. Please scroll down for further information about this process.

Financial Aid

Affording Liberty Christian School

A limited amount of financial aid is available for current LCS families as well as prospective families who have submitted an application and have been accepted into the school. To maintain maximum confidentiality and objectivity, eligibility for financial aid is based on need and determined by FACTS. To see if you qualify, you must apply through the FACTS Grant and Aid program.

Financial Aid is granted on a first-come, first-served basis; therefore, those who apply by the earliest deadline have a greater likelihood of receiving assistance than those who apply later in the enrollment cycle.

Please visit the FACTS website at https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3CHXW. Current families will use the same user name and password that is used to login to tuition accounts. Prospective families will need to set up an account and create a user name and password.

If you received aid last year, you are not automatically given aid for the new school year. A new application is required each year.

  • SUBMIT FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION FEE

The non-refundable application fee is $45 and is paid directly to FACTS.

sTEP tHREE
  • SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

The deadline to apply for financial aid for the upcoming school year is March 1st of the current school year. FACTS requires applicants to submit applicable tax documents such as the current year W-2’s, 1040’s, etc. All required documents must be submitted before March 1st if you wish to be considered for aid. A new application is required each year. Mid March, the finance committee at LCS will review the recommendations from FACTS, make a determination of aid for applicants, and notify all families who applied.

A second opportunity will be available for families to apply for any remaining financial aid through April 1st of the current school year. Again, all required documents must be submitted to FACTS in order to be considered. The committee will then meet to review, make a determination of aid, and notify those families.

Applications received for new families enrolling into our school after this deadline may be considered through June 30th.

  • KEEP BALANCES CURRENT

Financial Aid is awarded on a first come/first served basis. Current families must pay the commitment fee in order to be considered for financial aid. Unfortunately, any families who have not paid these fees will not be considered for aid.
