David L. Fieldings Runs Our Instrumental Music Program!
Mr. Fieldings has been training musicians since 1980 and has degrees in both music education as well as applied linguistics. His music school, The Psalm of David School of Music, has been training church musicians and singers in this area since 2000.
Instrumental Music FAQs
- Open to all students in 4th - 8th grade.
- Beginning instruments or ensembles meet once a week.
- Beginning instruments offered: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Electric Keyboard.
- There will be at least one concert per year. Students will also receive the opportunity to perform for other school events
- The ACSI Arts Festival, which is every spring, is open to middle school students who would like to compete in the music category. Entry choices are solo, duet, trio, quartet, or small ensemble. The LCS Middle School Ensemble falls into the 'Small Ensemble" category.
- This program is NOT included in the school tuition. Please contact Mr. Fieldings for pricing information.
