Working in a marginalized community of 100,000 Nicaraguan refugees, we are able to share Jesus’ love by teaching English classes and conducting a VBS program for children. Our students plan for and look forward to this trip for an entire year. They are involved in fundraising, planning outreach activities for the trip, and are able to reap the lifelong benefits of a foreign missions trip early in life. We welcome and are blessed by the involvement of parents in every aspect of the trip.
“The Costa Rica trip impacted my walk with God because it was the first time that I was exposed to missions and serving those in the Spanish-speaking part of the world. The Costa Rica trip impacted my calling to become a Spanish teacher and to continue serving abroad through missions. I attribute my missions experiences in Chile and Ecuador to the missionary foundation that was built within me in Costa Rica in 2004.”
